"Gosh Mike that's pretty amazing history you have. And a role model which is one of the major things young folks are in need of." Johnnie Daniel
I just love your stories! I think it’s just terrible how slaves were treated! I will definitely like it and share! I can’t wait for it to be up and running! I homeschool my youngest daughter and are using your stories and pictures to teach her our REAL history. I think it’s very important that it’s not lost! History books only have what they want you to know in them, so I’m always looking for alternatives and trying to teach her the truth! We are Native American and it just breaks my heart how they were treated also! Be sure to let me know when Crusoe Chronicles is ready please.
I have often wondered about my family's tree. My aunt on dad's side was able to get back to about 1570's but my sister went back on the maternal grandfather's side with very little from the maternal grandmother's side. I think my paternal grandfather was first generation from Germany. Maternal grandfather's side, best is 1840's with gg grandfather on the Union side in the Battle of Lexington (MO). I do like reading what you have discovered but don't always comment. Keep posting, Sir.
Mike, take the book, write a movie script and go Hollywood!!
